Arrive in Paro
Distance: 65km (1.5hrs)
Elevation: 2,250mts / 7,382ft
After reaching check into the hotel for some refreshment and ride a bike to visit the following places:
- Buddha Point where the tallest sitting Buddha Statue lies overlooking the beautiful whole capital city.
- Ride back to visit National Memorial Chorten “most religious landmark in Bhutan”. Check out how devoted local people of all ages come to circumambulate reciting prayers for the well-being of all the sentient beings
- Evening leisurely stroll through Thimphu town aligned with mini Bhutanese Authentic Local Craft stall and traffic functioned with manually by the policeman.

Thimphu – Sightseeing
- After breakfast, ride to Sangaygang to enjoy spectacular views of Thimphu City from another angle.
- En-route, visit Takin Reserve where country’s national animals resides.
- Visit Changangkha Lhakang, beautifully located in the middle of the city.
- After lunch, visit School of Thirteen Arts & Crafts, the primary center of learning for Bhutanese traditional arts.
- The National Textile Museum to get insight on Bhutan’s national art of weaving.
- Later explore Centenary Farmer’s Market (Open: Thursday – Sunday).
Overnight in Thimphu.
Thimphu – Phobjikha
Distance: 135km (5-6hrs)
Elevation: 3,000m / 9,843ft.
- After breakfast drive to the land of endangered bird species the Black Necked Crane, the Phobjikha Valley.
- En-route stop by Dochula Pass (3150m) well known for spectacular views of the eastern Himalayan mountain ranges.
- After reaching Phobjikha visit Gangtey Monastery.

Phobjikha – Punakha
Distance: 78km (3hrs)
Elevation: 1,200m / 3,900ft.
- Morning explore Gangtey Natural Trail (1.5hr).
- After lunch drive to Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang “temple of fertility”.
- Later visit Punakha Dzong, “country’s beautiful fortress” confluence by two rivers Mo Chu & Pho Chu. It is marked by the beautiful traditional suspension bridge.
- Evening leisurely explore Punakha Town.
Overnight in Punakha.
Punkaha – Paro via Thimphu
Distance: 70km (2.5hrs)
- After breakfast drive till capital city for the lunch. Post lunch ride back to Paro.
- After reaching Paro check into the hotel and relax for the day.
- Evening leisurely explore Paro town.
Overnight in Paro.
Paro – Sightseeing
Distance: 130km (4-5hrs)
- After breakfast, ride a bicycle to visit the following places.
- National Museum built in the 17th century.
- Visit the Paro Dzong known as the fortress of the heap of jewels.
- Visit a local farm house for an experience of an authentic Bhutanese lifestyle and local hospitality. Lunch at the farm house with the family who lives here.
- Evening leisurely ride towards the ruins of Drugyal Dzong.

Paro -“Hike to Tiger’s Nest”
Elevation: 3,120mts / 10,240ft
Walking Hour: 4 – 5hrs
- After breakfast ride till the base of your hike.
- Tiger’s Nest clings beautifully on the cliff overlooking Paro Valley.
- After the hike ride back to your hotel. En-route, visit Kyichu Lhakhang.
